Ryton Gardens, the home of Garden Organic, is hosting fun activities for children this summer and is offering 3 children free entry with every full paying adult from now until 31 August 2010.

With the aim of getting children enjoying the outdoors, looking closely at nature and exploring the natural environment, Garden Organic will offer young visitors to the gardens a host of activities to choose from. The summer garden fun will see children following texture trails around the gardens, enjoying summer bingo, and for the more adventurous, the chance to take part in den building and feeding the worms!

All activities are self-guided and resources can be collected once admitted to the gardens. Activities are available all day every day, except for Feed the Worms, which commences at 11.30 each day outside the Vegetable Kingdom.

As well as ten acres of gardens on site there is also a shop with plant sales, organic cafe and restaurant (offering a children's menu). Up to three children go free with one full paying adult throughout the summer.(adult £6)
